By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the NEXUS application and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

License and Usage

NEXUS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the software on devices you own or control, strictly for personal and non-commercial home automation purposes. You may not distribute, lease, rent, or sub-license the software to any third party.

Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree to use NEXUS only for lawful purposes. You shall not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code from the application, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law. Furthermore, you shall not use the Services to create any product or service that competes directly with NEXUS, nor shall you exploit any bugs or vulnerabilities in the software.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your home network, devices, and NEXUS account credentials. NEXUS operates locally and relies on the security of your own network infrastructure. We strongly advise using strong passwords and ensuring your router's firmware is up to date.

Disclaimer of Warranties

NEXUS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall NEXUS, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, property damage, or security breaches) arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law and Updates

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our primary operations are based. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through our application or website. Your continued use of NEXUS following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
